A place out of the ordinary, which escapes the dimensions of time and space and eludes the rational perception of those who visit it. NonostanteMarras arises from the restlessness and creativity of Antonio Marras, artist, stylist, and designer, a man in whose intimacy different and complementary insights, gestures, and signs of art coexist. A crossroads of encounters and looks into unprecedented perspectives, in the heart of Milan at via Cola di Rienzo 8. A concept store that aims to speak to a diverse audience, designed as a sensory evolution of traditional shopping. On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, scheduled from April 16th to 21st, NonostanteMarras will become the focal point of some important collaborations related to the Fuorisalone.

Thanks to the shared creative and engaging vision of the Rana family and Antonio Marras, the presence of the Temporary Bistrot & Restaurant 'Famiglia Rana' is confirmed. Available from breakfast to dinner throughout the Fuorisalone, the gastronomic proposal represents an encounter between the restaurant's most iconic dishes and those dedicated to the flavors of Sardinia, Marras' island of origin.
The showroom will therefore become an environment of emotion and storytelling, in which blue, the color of the sea, will recur with strong aesthetic force. Ceramics will enrich the complexity of the creative identity of the setup, created precisely by the Sardinian artist. The exhibition will be characterized by the artistic-perspective simulation of a labyrinth of glass doors, which will represent its perimeter and guide the path of the spectators. These, thanks to the glass, will be able to look "inside" alternative perspectives and open glimpses that concern the past and memories. Inside them, in fact, they will contain some lamps, which will descend from the ceiling to settle at human height.

For the interior design of the concept store, Marras collaborated with Nodo Italia, an Italian brand renowned for outdoor furniture design. Thanks to their expertise in the textile sector, Nodo Italia is able to create well-coordinated environments with various technologies, textures, and colors. In this partnership, exclusive models called ANTONIO MARRAS + NODO ITALIA were created, including chairs, sofas, and tables using fabrics, weaves, and knits in various shades. For example, the EVA chair and sofa are made with a combination of mélange rope and braids in blue, bordeaux, and beige, along with the OLYNA yarn, which is also used for four rugs and poufs with padded seats. The ZIP sofa is designed with knitted panels and a unique braided structure. The BRIQUE series features highly textured manual weaves with a striped blue fabric, the same used for the VIA chair. In addition to furniture, the NODO lanterns also take the spotlight, transformed into works of art composed through Marras' artistic talent.
