That sooner or later you will stop, that when you turn on the radio, you only sing other people’s songs.
“Only Antonio could have given sartorial three-dimensionality to my music. This has been a story between the idyll of expectation and the tenderness of awkwardness. Thank you, Antonio, for gifting me a piece of your art and for laying it over mine like a blanket.”

“Dear Michele, it’s true that I never sleep at night, that the dog is always barking, that I sing other people’s songs and don’t even know when I last went grocery shopping, that I listen to Battisti — yet scrolling through your photos, I see you always the same and yet different. You should be ashamed that after so many years I still come looking for you and you never stop being missed, and I am happy to dress you.”
