SPRING SUMMER 2024
SPRING SUMMER 2024
In the northwestern tip of Sardinia, there is a pearl with spectacular landscapes. The cliff of Capo Caccia, a sheer drop of 186 meters over a sea animated by the occasionally furious wind, free to hurl itself against the innocent rocks, provides the backdrop to a story that seems tailor-made to make dreams tangible. A story that Antonio Marras began to narrate in the Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show.

ALGHERO INTERLUDE
It was the summer of 1967 when the film crew of director Joseph Losey landed in the Porto Conte Natural Park in search of an ideal set. The movie BOOM! in Italian, titled "La Scogliera Dei Desideri" featuring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, brought Hollywood to Alghero, amidst the wilderness of a dreamlike landscape. From the studios of Los Angeles to the wild scenery.

Cliffs shaped by time jut out over the sea, both aerial and submerged caves, red clay lands, Mediterranean scrub, helichrysum and seagulls, and the presence of ethereal characters drifting lightly to tell exceptional stories closely tied to the commanding nature.

Couture dresses, tailored tunics, masculine oversized looks, and grand soirée dresses converse with the landscape, like the lead actors on the stage created by the cliff.

Everything is enveloped by the wind, the true emperor of Sardinia: only the rose, a symbol of purity, passion, vanity, and beauty, stands still in the wind, a symbol of Marras.
